Mary Allice Chappel was born on January 13th, 1881 in Texas.1 Mary Allice Chappel's father is Leonidas C. Boutwell and her mother was Francis Permelia Tumlinson. Her maternal grandparents were William Pytus Tumlinson and Mary Ann Boykin. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Wellis, Jessie, Arzule and Edyth.
