Walter Isbel 'Rip' was born on August 7th, 1912 in Johnson Co., Texas.1 Walter Isbel 'Rip''s father was Thomas Marion Boteler and his mother was Lola Neff. His paternal grandparents were John Bell Boteler and Frances (Fanny) M. Poe; his maternal grandparents were Emer Johnson (E J) Neff and Sallie Frances (Fanny) Hightower. He had a brother and a sister, named Infant Son and Frances. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 92 on March 28th, 2005 in Glenrose, Texas. nd h usband John; grandsons, J. Garth Oliver and wife Kasie and W. Tom Oli
ver a nd wife Lora; great grandchildren, Dustie, Brittany, Garrett and Eli
se; ne phews, Dwaine and Travis Basham; niece, Lleta Scoggins; a numb
er of gre at nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Rach
el Botel er on March 14, 2004 and sister, Francis Basham.
