Leona Bloyd 
Leona was born on December 24th, 1880 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 Leona's father was William Harvey Bloyd and her mother was Nancy Jane Salsman. Her maternal grandparents were Christopher Columbus Salsman and Caroline Johnson. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Henry Milton, Oscar C., Linnie, Boone Homer, Ollie Lee, Louetta and Flora Alice. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 17 on March 26th, 1898 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
