Luther Edward Blanton 
Luther Edward was born on July 11th, 1907.1 Luther Edward's father was Beverly Alonzo Blanton and his mother was Lillie Day Basham. His paternal grandparents are John Webster Blanton and Mary Ellen Minton; his maternal grandparents were Hartwell Belvy Basham and Mary Catherine "Katie" Crume. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Harlan, Oscar, Roscoe, Cordie Ellis, Lauranie, Rosie, Ola, Zola, Bessie and Living. He died at the age of 80 on November 5th, 1987.1 General Notes
