Elizabeth Catherine was born on May 16th, 1865 in Williamson Co. Texas.1 Elizabeth Catherine's father was George Joseph Blackman and her mother was Cynthia Ellen Oxley. Her maternal grandparents were Enoch Oxley and Elizabeth Smalley. She had four brothers and three sisters, named James Enoch, William Everitt, John Michael, Charles Alexander, Queen Addie, Mary Dena and Nancy Evalyn. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She had two half-brothers named Everett L. and Ernie M.. She died at the age of 72 on February 10th, 1938 in California. She was buried in Loma Vista Cemetery, Brea, California.1 1 General Notes
