Phoebe Elizabeth Louisa Jane was born on September 25th, 1853 in Lawrence Co., Tennessee.1 Phoebe Elizabeth Louisa Jane's father was Samuel Frederick Howard Basham and her mother was Elizabeth Charity Ray. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Basham and Pheebee Pinnicuff. She had two brothers and four sisters, named William R., Archibald Franklin, Nancy M., Martha M., Malisey E. and Alice Armintia. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 77 on September 5th, 1931.1 General Notes
