Matilda Lurilla Bassham 
Matilda Lurilla was born on October 12th, 1879 in Lawrenceburg, Lawrence Co., Tenn.1 Matilda Lurilla's father was Jefferson Wiley Bassham and her mother was Minerva A. Faust. Her paternal grandparents were Johnson J. Bassham and Martha Bassham. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Zachery Taylor, William Lonzo (Bill), Grover Cleveland, Charles W., James Hamilton, Nealer U. and Minnie Lee. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 79 on April 19th, 1959 in West Plains, Howell Co., Missouri.1 General Notes
