Julia Gertrude Bassham 
Julia Gertrude was born on June 9th, 1902 in Alabama.1 Julia Gertrude's father was James William Bassham and her mother was Tythe Elizabeth Wright. Her paternal grandparents were Levi Sampson Bassham and Sarah Smith. She had four brothers and four sisters, named William L., John Cletian, Joseph B., Leonard S., Sallie E., Dizzie M., Ellen M. and Remis D.. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named James "Little Jim" and Evie. She died at the age of 77 on March 30th, 1980.1 General Notes
