Ira 'Sewella' Grace was born on January 31st, 1913.1 Ira 'Sewella' Grace's father was Phinis Malcome Bassham and her mother was Minnie Lee (Golie) Barrett. Her paternal grandparents were Francis Marion (Frank) Bassham and Louisa Lucretia (Lucy) Popnoe. She had four brothers and a sister, named Frank Leuman (Buster), Othela, J. D., Fred Malcolm and Patricia 'Maye'. She had a half-brother named Living. She died at the age of 66 on September 20th, 1979 in Texas.1 General Notes
