George Allen Bassham 
George Allen was born on December 11th, 1898 in Hopkins Co., Texas.1 George Allen's father was Williba Franklin Bassham and his mother was Georgia Ann Walker. His paternal grandparents were Solomon J. Bassham and Susan Jane Kennamer. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Solomon Frank, Leona Bell, Williba 'Edgar', Clyde Houston, James Talmage (J T), Infant, Joe Bailey, Susie Isabella, Rosa Ava and Bonnie Pauline. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He had two half-brothers named Infant Daughter and John Dallas. He died at the age of 19 on November 26th, 1918.1 General Notes
