Ethel Erie Bassham 
Ethel Erie was born on November 25th, 1886 in Texas.1 Ethel Erie's father was Francis Marion (Frank) Bassham and her mother was Louisa Lucretia (Lucy) Popnoe. Her paternal grandparents were Johnson Basham and Susan A. Unknown. She had six brothers and three sisters, named William Palestine (Bill), Henry Lansford, Edward Franklin (Edd), Leonard Lawrence, Sam Estes, Phinis Malcome, Susan Elizabeth (Betty), Arrie Ellen and Cora 'May' Seeley. She was the second youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 90 on January 15th, 1977 in Mt Pleasant, Titus Co., Texas.1 General Notes
