America Josephine Bassham 
America Josephine was born on November 29th, 1850 in Tennessee.1 America Josephine's father was William F. Bassham and her mother was Dianah B. Hall. Her paternal grandparents were William Basham and Sarah Unknown. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Leroy F., Isaac Newton, John W., William J., James C., Henry D., Martha E. and Malinda. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 85 on October 24th, 1936. She was buried in Lanton Cem., Green Mill Community of Maury Co., Tennessee.1 1 General Notes
