Alton Bassham 
Alton was born on April 4th, 1908.1 Alton's father was John Cletian Bassham and his mother was Margaret Naoma Belle Harrison. His paternal grandparents were James William Bassham and Tythe Elizabeth Wright. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Alfred, John C., James Levi, Altha Eudora, Amber Savannah and Allean. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 91 on January 25th, 2000 in Nashville, Tennessee.1 General Notes
