Zina Basham 
Zina was born on October 2nd, 1896 in Matoaka, Mercer Co., West Virginia.1 Zina's father was Anderson Basham and his mother was Naomi Frances Crews. His paternal grandparents were John Henry Basham and Martha Goodall. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Earnest, Bruce, Arley Lewis, Alvie, Demy, Vertie, Virgie and Lena. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Willard Lee, Rosa B., Eliza A. and Cora B.. He died at the age of 80 in July 1977.1 General Notes
