William W. Basham 
William W. was born on April 24th, 1827 in Virginia.1 William W.'s father was Elijah Basham and his mother was Nancy Turner. His paternal grandparents were John, Sr. Basham and Francis Susanna Unknown; his maternal grandparents are John Turner and Unknown Wife. He had five brothers and a sister, named Pleasant, Joseph A., Daniel W., Thomas, Elizabeth and Mary S.. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 73 on February 15th, 1901 in Bedford Co., Virginia.1 General Notes
