William Allen Basham 
William Allen was born on September 5th, 1894 in Kingston, Madison Co., Arkansas.1 William Allen's father was John Finley Bassham and his mother was Mary Taylor. His paternal grandparents were Eli H. (Neil) Bassham and Mariah Finley. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Thomas E., Franklin, Bertha, Denver Finley, Charles Taylor, Arizona, Effie, Josephine, Grace E. and Bessie May. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He died about 1957 in Muskogee, Muskogee Co., Oklahoma.1 General Notes
