Walter E. was born on April 26th, 1924 in Jefferson Co., Kentucky.1 Walter E.'s father was Luther E. Basham and his mother was Edna L. Blair. His paternal grandparents were James Timothy Barkley Basham and Angeline Decker. He had two brothers and a sister, named Raymond Aubrey, Maynard O. and Gladis. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 55 on February 10th, 1980 in Jefferson Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
