Walter Basham 
Walter was born on March 3rd, 1897 in Grandview, Johnson Co., Texas.1 Walter's father was Beuford B. Basham and his mother was Mary Jane Hall. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Basham and Mahala Preston; his maternal grandparents were William Hall and Louisa (Eliza) Dickerson. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Virgil Nathan, Harvey, William Luthur, John 'Henry', Nora Bell, Lou Ella, Infant Daughter, Eva Linda, Manda Lizzie and Gertrude 'Gertie'. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 76 on October 18th, 1973 in Tarrant Co., Texas.1 General Notes
