Vernon Penki Basham 
Vernon Penki was born on May 20th, 1908 in Mountainburg, Arkansas.1 Vernon Penki's father was Nathaniel T. Basham and his mother was Lydia Inola Walker. His paternal grandparents were Monroe Moses Basham and Martha Jane Williams. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Idos, Reeves, Agnes, Lela Estella, Erma and Anne Bell. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 49 on November 9th, 1957 in Mt. Burg, Arkansas.1 General Notes
