Thomas Melvel Basham

Thomas Melvel was born on November 3rd, 1901.¹   Thomas Melvel's father was Melville A. (Marion) Basham and his mother was Mary A. Boston.  His paternal grandparents were Martin Basham and Judith A. Richmond. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Joel W., Paul M., John H., Ethia A., Florence N., Mattie L. and Lula E..  He was the second youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 73 on March 4th, 1975 in Georgia.¹ 

‌Thomas Melvel and Bessie May were married in a religious ceremony on December 20th, 1917.¹   They had two sons and two daughters, named Thomas M., Charles Obed, Living and Living.
