Shelby Basham 
Shelby was born about February 1895 in Ohio Co., Kentucky.1 Shelby's father was Daniel 'Thomas' Basham and his mother was Lizzie Sonders. His paternal grandparents were Henry Dalton Basham and Charlotte F. Doolin. He had three brothers and six sisters, named William D., Louis, Albert, Pearlie, Minnie, Golda Mae, Estille (M), Lena and Mary M.. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He had two half-brothers named Jewell and Chester. He died on November 5th, 1979.1 General Notes
