Ruth B. Basham 
Ruth B. was born on May 17th, 1902 in Eastland, Eastland Co., Texas.1 Ruth B.'s father was James Henry Basham and her mother was Mary Jane Veal. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Jefferson, Sr. Basham and Sarah Frances Renfro. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Jess (Twin), Dill Bryan, James 'Webster', Roy Sanford, Delbert, Ernest 'Fay', Rosie Lee, Bessie (Twin), Sallie Isabell (Sarah) and Jesse Ann. She was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 76 on March 18th, 1979 in La Junta, Otero Co., Colorado.1 General Notes
