Richard Overton Basham 
Richard Overton was born on May 20th, 1874 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 Richard Overton's father was Elijah Lemaster Basham and his mother was Laura Ann Collins. His paternal grandparents were James Herrod Basham and Polly Ann Arms. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Barbara A., Alva P., Belle Nannie, Elijah D., Laura, Jolly (Eva) (Twin), William Owen (Twin), Lizzie and Leveda Forrest. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 77 on August 30th, 1951 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
