Richard Hardin Basham 
Richard Hardin was born on October 22nd, 1884 in Hardinsburg, Kentucky.1 Richard Hardin's father was Ezra Madison Basham and his mother was Lucia Ann Marr. His paternal grandparents were Allen Kellogg (Kell) Basham and Eliza Jane Dowell. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Payton O., Noah T., Thomas F., Bennie H., Allen H., Nancy Elizabeth (Bettie), Docia A. and Eliza E.. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 73 on September 2nd, 1958 in California.1 General Notes
