Peggy Basham

Peggy was born in 1796 in Virginia.¹   Peggy's father was William Basham and her mother was Sarah Sally Shrewsbury.  Her paternal grandparents were William Basham and Sarah (Agness) Angel; her maternal grandparents are Benjamin Shrewsbury and Nancy Richardson. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Uriah, Cary, Barnett A., Lucy, Celia, Nancy, Rhoady and Mary (Polly).  She was the second youngest of the nine children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Obediah, Jonathan and Elizabeth.  She died before 1850.¹
