Payne Basham 
Payne was born about September 1899 in Madison Co., Arkansas.1 Payne's father was William P. Basham and his mother was Fanny Page. His paternal grandparents were Eli H. (Neil) Bassham and Mariah Finley. He had a brother and three sisters, named Jesse F., Evey M, Ethel and Flora B. He is the second youngest of the five children.General Notes
