Mehitabel Enfield Basham 
Mehitabel Enfield was born on October 14th, 1861 in Fordsville, Ohio Co., Kentucky.1 Mehitabel Enfield's father was Eli Houston Basham and her mother was Nancy Melvina Fitzeleanor McCoy. Her paternal grandparents were James Herrod Basham and Polly Ann Arms. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named David Houston, James Gideon, Albert Alford, Erastus Finley, Ellard Randell, Atticas Inlap, Burnice Festus, Garfield Ollie, Vizella Ellen, Charity Marguerite and Opal Effie. She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 20 on June 25th, 1882.1 General Notes
