Meador Basham 
Meador was born about 1804 in Franklin Co., Virginia.1 Meador's father was William Loyd Basham and his mother was Ama Meador. His paternal grandparents were John, Sr. Basham and Francis Susanna Unknown; his maternal grandparents were Jessee Meador and Lucy (Nancy?) Hix. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Lloyd, John, Pleasant, David, Rebecca, Rhoda, Margaret and Mary (Polly). He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died after 1850.1 General Notes
