Mattie Basham 
Mattie was born on March 28th, 1881 in Woodbury, Cannon Co., Tennessee.1 Mattie's father was Thomas Gowen Basham and her mother was Susan Betty Wood. Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Basham and Elizabeth McComb. She had five brothers named Jonathan Benjamin (J B), Freddie, Henry Harrison, Zelar and Gowen. She was the oldest of the six children. She had a half-sister named Jennie. She died at the age of 55 on March 17th, 1937 in McMinnville, Warren Co., Tennessee.1 General Notes
