Mary (Polly) Basham

Mary (Polly) was born on September 25th, 1815 in Tennessee.¹   Mary (Polly)'s father was Arthur (Arty) F. Basham and her mother was Sarah Livingston.  Her maternal grandparents are John Livingston and Mary Carvin. She had three brothers and a sister, named Arty F., Harvey R., James W. and Margaret.  She was the oldest of the five children.  She died after 1870 in Angelina Co., Texas.¹ 

‌Mary (Polly) and Jeremiah were married in a religious ceremony on March 1st, 1834 in Morgan Co., Alabama.¹   They had two daughters named Elizabeth Adelia and Sarah Eliza.
