Mary A. Basham 
Mary A. was born about 1837 in Virginia.1 Mary A.'s father was John Basham and her mother was Catherine Ball. Her paternal grandparents were William Loyd Basham and Ama Meador. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Allen M., Joseph A., Abraham P, Augustus, William M., John S., Elizabeth and Rebecca Catherine. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
