Margaretha Basham 
Margaretha was born about 1798 in Virginia.1 Margaretha's father was Obediah Basham and her mother was Celia Dowell. Her paternal grandparents were William Basham and UNKNOWN Elizabeth; her maternal grandparents were George DOWELL and Margaret \\. She had ten brothers and two sisters, named Bartlett, James, Micajah, Henry Dowell, Henry Dowell, Joseph Dowell, Frederick, Allen Dowell, Francis (Frank), Francis Marion, Margaret and Margaret. She was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children. She died about July 1850 in Breckenridge Co, Kentucky.1 General Notes
