Laura Ann Basham 
Laura Ann was born on March 11th, 1854 in Kentucky.1 Laura Ann's father was Samuel Wesley (Rev) Basham and her mother was Sally Davis Young. Her paternal grandparents were James Basham and Elizabeth DAVIS. She had two brothers and five sisters, named John Allen Davis, James Timothy Barkley, Margaret Elizabeth, Mary Towsend, Martha Francis, Olivia Caroline and Olivia Victoria. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She had six half-brothers named Alexander Campbell (Eleck), Silas Hardin Hailey, Samuel McClain, Granville Simpson, William Henry and Heber Elliott.
