King James Basham 
King James was born on February 11th, 1895 in Ludwig, Johnson Co., Arkansas.1 King James' father was James Oliver Basham and his mother was Clara Jane King. His paternal grandparents were James Oliver, Sr. Basham and Lemira Jane Shelton. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Walter Newton, Clemmie Lamira, Heartsill Alfred, Bertha Minnie, Bessie Mary, Jewelle Oma and Imogene. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 82 on November 7th, 1977 in Ft Smith, Sebastian Co., Arkansas.1 General Notes
