Katherine Basham 
Katherine was born on September 1st, 1807 in Roane Co., Tennessee.1 Katherine's father was James Monroe Bassham and her mother was Arta M. Holloway. Her paternal grandparents were Archibald Basham and Winna Jons. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Johnson J., James Monroe, Jr., John Anderson, Elizabeth Elenor, Mary and Artimissa (Margaret). She was the oldest of the seven children. She died after 1880 in Washington Co., Texas.1 General Notes
