Jessie Oleta Basham 
Jessie Oleta was born on April 5th, 1901 in Blue Spring, Jackson Co., Missouri.1 Jessie Oleta's father was James Edward Basham and his mother was Julia Isabelle Steele. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Basham and Elizabeth Ellis. He had four brothers and a sister, named Arthur Samuel, Benjamin Walter, David Ellis, Pearl and Lavina Murl. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 60 on May 30th, 1961.1 General Notes
