James W. Basham

James W. was born about 1835 in Alabama.¹   James W.'s father was Arthur (Arty) F. Basham and his mother was Sarah Livingston.  His maternal grandparents are John Livingston and Mary Carvin. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Arty F., Harvey R., Mary (Polly) and Margaret.  He was the youngest of the five children.  He died after 1866.¹ 

‌James W. and Mary were married in a religious ceremony about 1855.¹   They had a son and a daughter, named William and Lissa J..
