James Porter Basham

James Porter was born about 1887 in Virginia.¹   James Porter's father was Henry Basham and her mother was Eliza J. Unknown.  Her paternal grandparents are Father Tom Unknown and Betty Basham. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Carleton, Thomas, Sallie A., William Irvin, Minnie M., Katie E. and Elsie.  She was the oldest of the eight children.  She died after 1900.¹
