James McHenry Basham 
James McHenry was born about 1837 in Franklin Co., Virginia.1 James McHenry's father was Warner Basham and his mother was Lucy A. Meador. His paternal grandparents were John, Jr. Basham and Frances (Franky) Meadors; his maternal grandparents were Obediah Meador and Prudence Wells. He had three sisters named Frances J., Elizabeth and Florentine. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died on May 10th, 1886 in Staunton, Bedford Co., Virginia.1 General Notes
