James Lee Basham 
James Lee was born on June 2nd, 1866 in Valley Park, St Louis Co., Mo.1 James Lee's father was Edward Basham and his mother was Mahala Jones. His paternal grandparents were John Basham and Elizabeth Finley. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named John A., Clayton 'Perry', Elizabeth, Nancy, Virginia Jane, Amanda, Frances Leola, Florence and Matilda. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 67 on March 19th, 1934 in St Louis, St Louis Co., Missouri.1 General Notes
