James Fudge Basham 
James Fudge was born on July 5th, 1864 in King, Coryell Co., Texas.1 James Fudge's father was Coffey Jones Basham and his mother was Julia Ann Waggoner. His paternal grandparents were Solomon Basham and Elizabeth Coffey Marler. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William W., John A., Dicey Ann, Arie W. (Amy) and Julia Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the six children. He had a half-sister named Talitha Cumile. He died at the age of 70 on April 20th, 1935 in Bexar Co., Texas.1 General Notes
