James Franklin Basham 
James Franklin was born on March 10th, 1899 in Sciotoville, Scioto Co., Ohio.1 James Franklin's father was James Gallitan Basham and his mother was Lulu Pierce. His paternal grandfather was John W. Basham and his paternal grandmother is Florence Hansford. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Ralph Lee, Lloyd Pierce, Carl Edgar, Bertha Walden, Lucille Shump and Ruth Marie. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 93 on September 6th, 1992.1 General Notes
