James Edward Basham 
James Edward was born on February 14th, 1915 in Electra, Wichita Co., Texas.1 James Edward's father was Thomas Jefferson, Jr. Basham and his mother was Cammie Cornelia Stephens. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Jefferson, Sr. Basham and Sarah Frances Renfro; his maternal grandparents were Joseph S. Stephens and Laura Phrozenia Bazemore. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Willie Thomas, Alonzo Joseph, Phrozenia Frances, Daisy Belle and Flossie Irene. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 2 on May 28th, 1917 in Colorado.1 General Notes
