James Allen Basham 
James Allen was born on September 8th, 1873 in Hico, Hamilton Co., Texas.1 James Allen's father was Wesley Houston Basham and his mother was Harriet Anna Eliza (Ducky) Norris. His paternal grandparents were Zedekiah Basham and Sarah Frost. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Houston Oliver, Harley Olen (Twin) (Bunch), Wesley Oley (Twin) (Samp), Euby, Mary Olena (Ollie) and Ella Zona. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died about January 1899 in Greenville, Hunt Co., Texas.1 General Notes
