His paternal grandparents were Allen Dowell Basham and Elizabeth D WOLF. He had a brother and four sisters, named William Ollie, Eliza Margaret, Luticia Frances, Laura M. and Mattie B.. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 78 on February 8th, 1967 in Owensboro, Daviess Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
