Ida B. was born on April 21st, 1890 in Daviess Co., Kentucky.1 Ida B.'s father was James Henry Basham and her mother was Mary O. (Molly) Higgs. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Blades Basham and Sarah Jane Brock; her maternal grandparents were Alfred Higgs and Sarah Jane Calloway. She had four brothers and eight sisters, named Marion Adolphus, Robert Henry, Steven IVa, George Leslie, Clara Bell, Ella Mae, Alice, Willa Geneva, Lillie Jane, Lilla Mae, Nellie Pearl and Della Sue. She was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children. She had a half-brother named William Elva. She died in Owensboro, Daviess Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
