Hugh Triplett was born on April 27th, 1927 in Maceo, Daviess Co., Kentucky.1 Hugh Triplett's father was Marion Adolphus Basham and his mother was Nora B. Lancaster. His paternal grandparents were James Henry Basham and Mary O. (Molly) Higgs. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Infant Child, Infant Child, Infant Child, Marion Adolphus, Jr., Living, Clara Myrtle and Living. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Walker Hayden, Oscar Clair, Ines, Mary Emma and Bertha 'Louise'. He died at the age of 56 on November 28th, 1983 in New Harmony, Posey Co., Indiana.1 General Notes
