Herbert Evan Basham 
Herbert Evan was born on July 13th, 1891 in Butler Co., Kentucky.1 Herbert Evan's father was Silas Hardin Hailey Basham and his mother was Mary Isabell (Belle) Keown. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Wesley (Rev) Basham and Martha (Mary) Jane Williams. He had two brothers and a sister, named Casper Vaughn, Gordon (Bennette) and Cornelia Edith 'Nellie'. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 88 on October 26th, 1979 in Warren Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
