Henry Clark Basham 
Henry Clark was born on February 9th, 1883 in Ray Co., Missouri.1 Henry Clark's father was Franklin Pierce Basham and his mother was Frances Octavia Griffey. His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel (Nathan) Basham and Elizabeth Campbell. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John Ellis, George Allen, James 'Arthur', Clayburn, Mary Elizabeth, Elsie L, Rosa Ann and Beulah. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 86 on May 9th, 1969 in Cowgill, Caldwell Co., Missouri.1 General Notes

cher fr om the rural Cowgill area. They resided on several different far
ms in the ir earlier years.
Henry and Della had nine children. They were Roy Carl, born October 1
6, 1 907, a retired lawyer residing in Ft Worth, Texas; Ralph Randel, bo
rn Ju ly 1, 1909 and died at age 13 years on November 29, 1922; Eunice Pau
line b orn March 6, 1911 residing in Liberty, Missouri; Ellis Leland bo
rn Augu st 15, 1913 and died August 30, 1968; Thomas Woodrow born Janua
ry 5, 19 17 and died June 30, 1960; Alma Reva born August 28, 1919 and res
idi ng in Tulsa Oklahoma; Wilma Grace born May 7, 1922 residing in Kans
as Ci ty Kansas; Donald born September 5, 1926, a retired Kansas City poli
ce off icer residing in Kansas City, Missouri and Marjorie Lucile, born Au
gu st 2, 1928 residing in Indian- apolis, Indiana. In 1934 Henry and Del
la mo ved to a farm in the George- ville community and were residing the
re wh en Della died on March 21, 1960.
Henry then moved into Cowgill, Missouri and resided there until his d
ea th on May 9, 1969. Both are buried in the Cowgill, Missouri cemeter
