Harvey Basham 
Harvey was born on October 17th, 1882 in Hancock Co., Kentucky.1 Harvey's father was Jeremiah Henderson Basham and his mother was Sarah Ellen Higgs. His paternal grandparents were Cary Jackson 'Jack' Basham and Annis Warner; his maternal grandparents were Alfred Higgs and Sarah Jane Calloway. He had ten brothers and six sisters, named Finous, Hilous, Benjamin Harrison (Ben), Eugene C (Gene), Eulace, Edward Otis, Ruthford, Flora, Chester, Harold, Bertha S., Pearl, Carrie, Essie, Anna Lee and Clara Louise. He was the third oldest of the seventeen children. He had a half-sister named Mary Jane. He died at the age of 84 on August 3rd, 1967 in Owensboro, Daviess Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
